Summer Garden Tour 2020

Join Bullington Gardens’ Director, John Murphy, for an unforgettable stroll through nature. Hear about the history of Bullington Gardens as you experience the gardens in full bloom, learn about our Horticultural Therapy and educational programs for students and adults and the different varieties of flowers in the Pollinator garden. This walking tour will also take you thru the Therapy Garden and Fairy trail. This tour will proceed rain or shine so come prepared with an umbrella.

Two tour dates–July 1st & July 8th, 3:30pm-4:30pm. $10/person.

COVID-19 precautions: Tour is outdoors. Limit of 15 people per tour. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times.

Fundraising raffle for Bullington Gardens' Horticultural Therapy & Educational Programs for children and adults with special needs. Dahlia Darling Sponsorship

Be a Dahlia Darling and sponsor a Dahlia from Bullington’s Dahlia Garden. Grown, nurtured and propagated by Brian Killingsworth, (the Dahlia Lama), Bullington’s Dahlia Garden has been a draw for many visitors over the years for its hard to find varieties, beautiful colors and lush foliage.

For $25.00, you can sponsor the Dahlia of your choice or we can pick one for you. Your name will appear on a sign on the Dahlia thanking you for your support. All proceeds benefit Bullington Gardens’ Educational and Horticultural Therapy Programs for children and adults with special needs.

Wee Wine & Dahlias

Enjoy a quiet evening with wine in the Bullington Dahlia garden with your own trusted bubble group. Sip delicious, locally sourced wine while strolling the Dahlia garden in all its glory. Groups of up to 8 can sign up for 1 of 2 spots in September with their own tent, chairs, tables and 2 bottles of wine. You’re welcome to bring your own food and enjoy dinner with a view!

$300 per group per evening. Sept. 8-12, 15-19, 22-26 from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm. Proceeds support the educational and Horticultural Therapy programs of Bullington Gardens.

Sponsors are welcome! $500 per sponsor will get your name in lights for all to see and an evening in our gorgeous Dahlia garden! Plus, honorable mention on our website, newsletter, Facebook and Twitter.

Saving Seeds From Your Landscape

This program will help you to be successful in saving seeds from your garden for use in the next growing season. Open pollination is the key to seed saving. The differences in heirloom and hybrid seeds as well as all the positives and negatives of both types of seeds will be discussed. This is a Zoom class. Start time is 3:00 pm until approximately 4:30 pm depending on question and answer time. $10/person.
