Extension Agent Craig Mauney will cover best varieties and cultural practices to successfully grow blueberries in the home garden. $12
Vegetable Gardening Basics, March 15, 16, 17, 4:00-5:30
Learn the gardening basics of improving soil, composting, what and when to plant, pest control measures and other techniques to get your vegetable garden off to a good start. Led by Bullington’s John Murphy. $35
Growing & Propagating Dahlias, April 12, 2:00-3:30
Brian Killingsworth, Bullington’s Dahlia Guru will discuss and demonstrate all you need to know to grow these spectacular plants in your garden. If you have clumps of dahlias from last season, bring them and learn how to separate into individual tubers. $10
Using Perennials in the Landscape, April 26, 2:00-3:30
Crissy Dzielak of Landmark Landscapes will highlight great perennials for Western NC, especially low maintenance beauties, and how these plants can be used in the landscape. $12
