Planting for Pollinators: Bees & Butterflies-Zoom Class
Pollinator experts Kim Bailey of Milkweed Meadows Farms, and Jill and Brannen of Spriggly’s Beescaping will present information on creating habitats to attract pollinators to your landscape. Kim will focus on butterfly gardens that provide habitat for all stages of the life cycle with tips for planting milkweed to attract monarchs as well as growing native plants to support a myriad of butterflies and other pollinators, too! Jill & Brannen will focus on native bees of North America (with European honey bees taking a backseat). Learn about the lives of these incredible pollinators through an exploration of common species and the habitat each requires for nesting and survival.
